Every year, the day is dedicated to motherhood, to appreciate mothers and motherly figures
KARACHI: Being a mother is a job like no other in the world. She is on duty throughout the day, and her work is never-ending, unlike a typical job of eight hours a day. She is only motivated by pure and unwavering love, and the unique bond she has with her children only strengthens with time. Despite all the responsibilities she shoulders, she often goes unappreciated.
With the month of May approaching, many will celebrate Mother’s Day to express their love and affection to their mothers. Every year, the day is dedicated to motherhood, to appreciate mothers and motherly figures, and to convey gratitude for the hardships borne in child-rearing. The day is marked by high spirits and enthusiasm as various public and private organisations make arrangements regarding the day while people send flowers and present cakes and gifts to their mothers. We should take this day to reach out to all the mothers in our lives and remind them how loved and appreciated they are, and how much we cherish this blessing.
