Spreading measles

Letter April 28, 2019
There is no doubt that these vaccinations are necessary to prevent such diseases

LAHORE: A rise in preventable diseases such as measles, tetanus and polio has been observed in the past few years. While Pakistan remains one of the three countries where the polio virus is still active, America saw the most cases of measles in the developed world. It is unfortunate that many American parents choose not to vaccinate their children, despite having access to it. Their choice is based on a doubtful research that is available on the internet instead of the advice of healthcare professionals. There is no doubt that these vaccinations are necessary to prevent such diseases.
