A crime against humanity
KARACHI: The serial bombings in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday killed over 350 and injured over 500. This act of massacre is a crime against humanity. The perpetrators of this horrifying crime must be given deterrent punishment. All three Abrahamic religions preach peace, humanity and tolerance. Unfortunately, our region has fallen victim to religious bigots, fundamentalists and politicians who thrive by exploiting religion. Few fundamentalists with a political agenda exploit religion for their own nefarious ends. It is time the global community joined hands to confront these evil groups that kill in the name of religion to achieve political goals.
