Conditions at examination centres should be improved
KARACHI: Board exams are often held at centres which are mostly government schools and they are in an awful condition. School buildings are in a dilapidated state and they lack basic necessities like fans and electric lights.
Invigilators are unable to stop students from using unfair means. Some invigilators even help students cheat. This is unfair to the deserving students, as they are unable to score as much as those who cheat.
Conditions at examination centres should be improved, and staff and invigilators should be informed about rules so that they can implement them. The time limit for exams should be more flexible to facilitate students with learning disabilities. Strict action should be taken to discourage the copy culture to save our education system from destruction.
