Our army should realise that it is Pakistan’s army, not Islam’s army.
ISLAMABAD: This is reference to Sami Shah’s article, titled “Say nothing at all” (June 22). The military needs to cut its ties with jihadi terrorists. As long as our establishment continues its flawed policy of thinking of Islamic fascists as ‘strategic assets’, our problems won’t end. Our army should realise that it is Pakistan’s army, not Islam’s army. Our atomic weapons are for Pakistan’s defence, not for Islam’s. Pakistan and Islam are two different things.
