KARACHI: Traffic jams on Shara-e-Faisal, the city’s main artery, cause a lot of problems to citizens as they get stuck in these jams and face delays on a daily basis, especially in the morning hours. The traffic clogs up in case of a mix-up or near a U-turn as there is no system in place to deal with such situations. Some of the bridges constructed on this main artery, like the one near Drigh Road, have even worsened the situation as vehicles tend to change lanes unmindful of the flow of traffic which may result in accidents. All of this has made commute for ambulances, students and the working class very difficult.
