The people of Rekh Kaheerin need the attention of the government so that it may become a better place for them
BALNIGWAR, BALOCHISTAN: Rekh Kaheerin is a small village located in Balnigwar, a tehsil located 90km away from Turbat. It has a small population of 500 people, who face many hardships due to the lack of facilities available to them. The primary school consists of just one classroom and employs a single teacher. The students are forced to study under a makeshift hut due to the lack of space, and this hampers their learning. The only hospital in the village also comprises a single room, and has no doctor to tend to the patients. In case of any health issues, the residents must make a trip to Turbat, a trip that can prove to be fatal in case of an emergency due to the distance. Moreover, the only source of food for the people is through farming. However, the recent floods have ruined the fields that had been ploughed for the season.
The people of Rekh Kaheerin are resilient and have survived despite the numerous challenges they face in their everyday life. However, the area needs the attention of the government so that it may become a better place for the residents.
