The people of the province are deprived of their rights under these development projects in the province
TURBAT: Balochistan is well known for being the province that holds numerous energy sources. A major portion of CPEC is related to Balochistan due to the presence of the Gwadar Port and the two coal power plants that have been built. However, the people of the province are deprived of their rights under these development projects in the province. The people of Balochistan have the foremost right over the resources and the income they generate. They should also be given employment in the region (along with vocational training to handle the mechanical equipment) and access to facilities like healthcare and education. As of now, people of this region have not been able to benefit from the projects initiated under CPEC, rather they are deprived of even basic necessities like drinkable water in the city.
I most humbly request the federal and provincial governments not to neglect Balochistan and ensure proper provision of facilities for the people here.
