Unemployment has also been the cause of a rapid increase in Pakistan’s poverty rate
TURBAT: Unemployment is one of the major issues in Pakistan, which is increasing at an alarming rate. According to recent estimates, 5.3 million people in Pakistan are unemployed. As a result, many qualified individuals start working in the agriculture sector and other such labour activities. Approximately 12.5 per cent citizens in Pakistan are working in blue colour jobs.
On the other hand, unemployment has also been the cause of a rapid increase in Pakistan’s poverty rate. The government should work towards creating job opportunities for the country’s growing unemployed individuals. They will only add to the betterment of the country and help it reach its economic potential.
