KARACHI: Kindly refer to my interview carried by your esteemed newspaper on its business page on June 16 titled “Best days of consumer banking behind us: Bank Alfalah”. I would like to clarify that this interview, conducted almost six weeks back, was carried only yesterday and at no point in time during it did I express any apprehension about the Group’s capability to override the challenging business environment in the telecommunication sector. I would like to re-emphasise as a rejoinder that the Group is fully committed and focused in not only maintaining its business operations, but also further deepening its interest.
