ISLAMABAD: The attack by militants from across the border in Afghanistan should be picked up by the western media as proof that Pakistan is under attack as well. Unfortunately, American news channels such as Fox News are openly advocating that the American political leadership should bomb Pakistan. Even other news outlets like The New York Times and CNN are spewing venom against Pakistan and demanding the release of those arrested for allegedly providing information to the CIA on Osama bin Laden’s whereabouts inside Pakistan. Compare this to what many of us in Pakistan air doing, especially the liberals, who are berating the army.
