The citizens should also take it upon themselves to keep the city clean and avoid throwing waste on roads and streets
TURBAT: The city of Turbat is faced with multiple issues, like lack of medical and education facilities, provision of clean drinking water and dilapidated infrastructure. While most of these issues need the attention of the provincial government, pollution is one thing for which the responsibility equally lies with people.
The rising levels of pollution in the city is mainly causing health hazards, badly affecting many citizens, mostly children. The streets are littered with filth and garbage, and sewage water can be seen all all the place. Many people burn the waste on roads, polluting the environment further.
Such a state of the city should not be entirely blamed on the government apparatus as citizens are also responsible for adding to the pollution. The citizens should also take it upon themselves to keep the city clean and avoid throwing waste on roads and streets.
