PTI alone shouldn’t be blamed for a hike in gas tariff
KARACHI: The prolonged gas shortage in Pakistan has taken citizens by surprise, as simultaneously the tariff on gas has also increased.
Not only are people deprived of gas in some urban centres of the country they also have to pay more for something they are not even getting in the first place. Such a situation only raises questions on the planning of not just the incumbent government but also the ones before it.
The PTI alone shouldn’t be blamed for a hike in gas tariff and the shortage as it is also because of the incompetence of the previous leaderships that resulted in a gas shortage.
On the other hand, all the effort and energy of the opposition and the PTI government shouldn’t be wasted in blaming each other. They should cooperate with each in overcoming problems.
