The number of motorcycles is increasing as a result of highly inadequate public transport
KARACHI: Noise pollution is increasing in our cities and towns by the day. The ever-increasing of motorcycles is chief contributor to this growing noise pollution. The number of motorcycles is increasing as a result of highly inadequate public transport. Motorcycles are also adding to environmental pollution in the form of smoke. Lately it is also being witnessed that music orchestra are using very loud instruments and playing them at very high volume. If these kinds of activities go unchecked, the growing noise pollution will soon render many people deaf. This also affects students as noise disturbs their concentration on studies. The government should take measures to curb noise pollution.
