It is about time that PEMRA took action where it is needed
LAHORE: Possibly in the light of a few recent episodes of certain morning shows, a couple of news channels have shut down their morning shows permanently. Better late than never, perhaps these channels realised the wrong they were doing to society by conveying the wrong message. It is about time that PEMRA took action where it is needed and closed down the shows which are still conducting shows along the same lines. Where Indian and certain local content can be banned in the light of being contradictory to society’s social and cultural values, such morning shows too need to be banned.
