Positive rating

Letter January 27, 2019
PM must mull over the matters that taint his government’s performance

MULTAN: According to a recent survey, 51 per cent Pakistanis have shown confidence in Prime Minister Imran Khan’s performance since the start of his tenure.

The rating is a positive indicator of the government’s performance, however it does not make up for the critical economic conditions his government is trying to wriggle its way out of.

Khan’s government has already lost it over a lot of issues, most importantly his ministers’ using their influence for political transfers. The PM must mull over the matters that taint his government’s performance as indicators go only as far to form a perception in the minds of the masses.
