Bad state of education

Letter January 24, 2019
There is only one primary school in the village which is run by a single teacher and a single classroom

BAL NIGWAR: I belong to Rekkaheerin, which is one of the most neglected areas of Dasht in Balochistan. Although the people of Rekkaheerin are eager to acquire quality education, unfortunately, the village is deprived of what we call an education system.

There is only one primary school in the village which is run by a single teacher and a single classroom. The school has more than 60 students. All of them have to be stuffed in a single classroom which becomes so overcrowded that some of the students are compelled to sit outside the class.

I urge the government of Balochistan to look into the matter and provide basic facilities at this school, alongside building more schools in the area.
