NUML Hyderabad Campus regional director gives no reason for delay in distribution of laptops
HYDERABAD: As per the notification from the Higher Education Commission, students were required to collect their laptops on 2nd January, 2019 from the National University of Modern Languages, Hyderabad Campus, but no laptops have been awarded to the students as yet.
Moreover, the focal person (Regional Director, NUML Hyderabad Campus) has not given any reason for the delay in the distribution of laptops.
However, among the many possible reasons are: the university is not liable to award the laptop to students who have passed out in 2018, the problem lies within the policy that did not clearly state any such regulations and conditions for that matter; further, the merit list has not been issued by the main campus for those students who can claim their laptops.
The ambiguity of the whole process has been penned down here for the kind attention of the rector NUML University.
It is, therefore, requested that the NUML Islamabad Administration and the Higher Education Commission check for discrepancies at the NUML Hyderabad Campus. Moreover, the HEC should also take notice of the mismanagement, if any, in laptop distribution in any university.
