Culture of throwing garbage on roads is common in Turbat
TURBAT: The culture of throwing garbage on roads is common in the city of Turbat where residents seem to care less about this growing problem. As a result, we find garbage all over the city.
What many don’t realise is that not just the roads get polluted by this practice but the stuff thrown on the road also pollutes our environment, especially stuff like plastic. Moreover, it creates nuisance for pedestrians as they have to face hardships while walking across roads. It goes without saying that garbage heaps accumulated on and beside roads cause many diseases, some that might be fatal for children.
The citizens of Turbat are requested to be responsible and avoid throwing trash on roads. The city is their home and it is their responsibility to keep it clean as much as it is the responsibility of the departments concerned.
