Performance of our cricketers in first Test of ongoing series against South Africans has left fans disappointed
LAHORE: The performance of our cricketers in the first Test of the ongoing series against South Africans in their home country has left many fans disappointed. It almost seemed like our batsmen were not in the mood to play at all as their performance was below par. While our bowlers tried to hold the fort, the batsmen had given up on winning completely.
Such a dismal performance raises questions over Sarfraz Ahmed’s captaincy. This is not to say that Sarfraz is incompetent to lead the team, but lately he has not only given mediocre performance himself but has also made some bad decisions with regard to the team’s game. It is perhaps time that Sarfraz stepped down as captain and made way for someone who could take our players towards glory.
