The traffic police should ensure implementation of the relevant law
TURBAT: Using a helmet while riding a bike is one of the traffic laws across the country that must be strictly followed and heavy fines are imposed on those not following the law.
While everyone is aware that the use of helmet is for a driver’s safety, very few riders actually wear it for their own protection. Even among the busy traffic of the city of Turbat, many bike riders are found violating the law and not wearing helmet even though according to the city’s traffic laws they are supposed to do so. As a result, when met with an accident these riders suffer fatal head injuries.
The traffic police should ensure implementation of the relevant law. Motorcylists should also realise that wearing helmet saves them from head injuries which could prove fatal.
