LAHORE: Perhaps the Sharif dynasty has finally come to an end with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s conviction in the Al Aziza corruption case. The three-time prime minister and a two-time chief minister is to serve seven-year rigorous imprisonment. With the party quaid now behind bars, it remains to be seen as to who will take over the PML-N — Maryam Nawaz or Shehbaz Sharif or someone else. Remember Shehbaz too is in NAB custody, facing corruption charges, like his elder brother, Nawaz.
