Does more money mean success?

Letter December 22, 2018
Money is significant but not all one should desire

RAWALPINDI: Earning more is often confused with being more successful. Centering ourselves on this concept that money is all a person can earn and be successful only with is ruining our ability to achieve the goals that we should strive for.

Money is significant but not all one should desire. Most of us earn but in this race of earning more, money becomes a priority and respect and ethical values may be, a second. For example in a society like ours, a person who earns more is seen as successful as compared to a one earning less. Money alone has become the parameter to measure success.

Our perspective of achievements or accomplishments has changed. Aligning success to money is rather a wrong incentive. Hard work and skills, patience and passion, sensitivity and sensibility are all the equally essential ingredients for a perfect recipe of success.
