He was an ‘alleged’ robber, only the Rangers claim that he was one, so their word shouldn’t stand for much.
PARIS: Those who are harping on about the fact that Sarfaraz Shah was a robber need to first get the facts right. He was an ‘alleged’ robber, since nothing had been proven. Also, so far only the Rangers, the ones who killed him, claim that he was one, so their word shouldn’t stand for much, since they have been caught lying.
And those who want to give comparisons with the US saying that the law-enforcement authorities there are even stricter are misleading people. No police or military force in the US shoots unarmed individuals and if they believe that they have caught a robber, they hand him or her over to the police and then a trial in court follows.
Also, law-enforcement agents have no right to check anybody’s papers for no reason and usually this has to do with a fight happening in public or some kind of accident in which one or more persons may have suffered injuries or may have been killed.
