We need a national approach towards the issue
LAHORE: No implementable solution to the water shortage issue has been put into effect by the local government authorities. Conservation is obviously necessary, but it is not a solution.
We need a national approach towards the issue if we want to save our future generations from the wrath water crisis will bring upon us. I would like to draw the attention of the municipal authorities towards the scarcity of water in our region. In many zones of the Lahore city, there is no fixed time for supply of water. Sometimes water is not supplied at all, consecutively for four to five days, while at other times the supply is scheduled for few hours only. I request the authorities to take quick and concrete action to resolve the crisis.
