The police have registered an FIR against unidentified persons and started investigations
LAHORE: A 35-year-old woman from Syedpur area of Lahore has claimed that unidentified persons raped her in the operation theater of a city hospital during surgery. The woman has lodged a formal complaint with the Shadman police in which she said that she was sexually assaulted on November 24 in the operation theater of the hospital while she was unconscious from the anesthesia during a surgery.
The police have registered an FIR against unidentified persons and started investigations. Punjab’s Health Minister, Yasmeen Rashid, has taken notice of the incident and formed a committee to investigate the matter. Let us wait for the inquiry report.
