Hundreds of youth actively participated in the drive and donated blood for those in need
SHIKARPUR: Progressive nations have an empowered youth. Shikarpur, once regarded as the Paris of Sindh, has no different story. Shikarpur was a city of rich culture and civilisation. In this context, it was a force to be reckon with at the international. The people of the district were liberal and progressive in thought. But for a long time, Shikarpur has been facing social, educational and health issues.
Understanding the need of the time, the youth of Shikarpur has recently set up an organisation named Shikarpur Youth. This is a non-political and voluntary organization, which arranges awareness sessions for citizens. The youth, in consultation with notable members of society, drafted the paperwork for key departments of the organisation, including sports, education, health, media and public relations. Most recently, they arranged a blood donation campaign at RBUT Hospital Shikarpur. Hundreds of youth actively participated in the drive and donated blood for those in need.
Sunday, Nov 25, has been marked for Career Counselling Sessions for the students of Shikarpur. We intend to arrange many programmes aimed at social welfare.
