The initiative is a step towards providing children with a better environment
LAHORE: The setting up of an evening court is indeed a commendable step. The guardian evening court has been set up at the Lahore High Court. The court will deal with cases relating to children and their guardians. The setting up of the evening court is also aimed to save children from the atmosphere of the local courts during their usual working hours.
The initiative is a step towards providing children with a better environment.
Now that proceedings relating to such cases will take place during separately allotted hours, this should also result in swift closure of the cases. Other courts in Punjab and other provinces too should allocate separate hours for cases involving family and children.
