The harder you work, the luckier you get

Success cannot be achieved by mere daydreaming

KARACHI: Success cannot be achieved by mere daydreaming. To get somewhere, action and resolve are equally needed to create the perfect mix which I often confused as one’s luck. Struggle and hard work are the rungs to the ladder of success. If anything that is taught by all who have been able to make a name for them is the persistent effort they have put in their ambitions and dreams.

The fact is that hard work and determination will pay you back at some point in life sooner or later. All that is needed is a positive attitude, self-discipline and hard work in the right direction .There is, after all, no substitute for hard work. In the words of Henry Ford “the harder you work, the luckier you get”. Undoubtedly there will be innumerable obstacles in the path of success, however what makes a person truly deserving of success is the ability to keep struggling until they achieve whatever they have aspired for. People often ask that why one should work hard, when there are shortcuts? The truth is that there are no shortcuts to success that lasts for long. It took Noah Webster 36 years to compile his Webster’s Dictionary.

Using an intelligent working technique, along with relentless effort, is a tried and tested way to achieve the desired in life.
