It is yet to be seen if the PM’s sister will be subjected to the same treatment as others involved
KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan has properties in the UAE. The FIA has sent a notice to the PM’s sister. She confirmed the ownership of the said properties. The reason obviously is to evade the taxes and the legal work that comes along the ownership of properties abroad. As we know Imran Khan has given aggressive statements about offshore properties. It is yet to be seen if the PM’s sister will be subjected to the same treatment as others involved. If the new government is to stand by its claim of ‘Accountability for all’, then it should initiate trial of all those holding undeclared properties without any discrimination.
