Well done green shirts!

Letter October 30, 2018
Hopefully the boys will carry on this momentum in the upcoming T20

HYDERABAD: After the Pakistan cricket team’s disappointing performance in the Asia Cup 2018, it has recovered sooner than one could expect while defeating world champions Australia in both Test and T20 series in the UAE. The world No 1 T20 side (Pakistan) played brilliantly and were completely dominant over the Kangaroos in all departments of the game such as batting, bowling and fielding.

The green shirts whitewashed the Australian cricket team with a 3-0 in the T20 series by winning all three games with record margins of 66, 11 and 32 runs, respectively. Babar Azam played skilfully in the T20 series. He made 163 runs with two fifties and got Man of the Series award whereas Imad Hussain, Muhammad Hafeez and Shadab Khan also did a good job and helped the green shirts in defeating Australia.

The Pakistan cricket team also established a record by winning 10 consecutive T20 Series under Sarfraz’s captaincy. I believe that Pakistan’s success against Australia, especially in the T20 series, is due to playing without pressure and fearless cricket which is a good sign. Hopefully the boys will carry on this momentum in the upcoming T20, ODI and Test series against New Zealand.
