Help for drought-hit Afghans

Letter October 20, 2018
In northern and western Afghanistan a dry spell has destroyed crops and livestock, displacing thousands

KECH: In northern and western Afghanistan a dry spell has destroyed crops and livestock as a result of which hundreds and thousands of people have been displaced. According to a report, at least three million people in Afghanistan are in urgent need of food. These people are surviving on a diet of bread and tea.

Considering that Pakistan is Afghanistan’s friend and its well-wisher, our government should try its best to provide the people of Afghanistan food and health services.
