It is unfortunate and perhaps one of the worst things a society can experience
KECH, TURBAT: It really hurts to say that in Sialkot Mandiala area the owner of a private school and a teacher raped a female student. The students had gone home, when the rapists cornered the child and sexually assaulted her. She was taken to the nearest hospital after she was found by her parents.
People look up to teachers with great respect and often keep them at the same high pedestal as their own parents. It is unfortunate and perhaps one of the worst things a society can experience — a teacher assaulting his student.
Such acts do not only taint the coveted profession of teaching but also sows fears in parents, leading them to take their children out of school.
The family of the girl needs justice. The teacher and his accomplice should be awarded deterrent punishment.
