The state of civic services in Karachi is pathetic
KARACHI: The state of civic services in Karachi is pathetic. Many areas do not receive piped water but receive water bills regularly from the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board. The general perception is that the lack of water in our taps is due to water shortage. But plenty of water is available through tankers and donkey-carts. Power supply is what it has been for the past many years. As for public transport the concept of mass transit is an unknown thing.
