KARACHI: Trees and plants are the source of environmental purification and beautification. Change of climate and global warming are realities of 21st century. Pollution levels have touched an all-time high. All these factors take a toll on public health and give way to diseases.
Trees are the lifeline of our planet. They provide cool shade from the harsh sunrays. Planting trees helps in increasing the green cover of the earth and improves the environment.
There is thus a dire need to plant trees and provide adequate security to safeguard them. The authorities concerned need to take quick and better actions.
