KARACHI: The first lady of Pakistan, Bushra Imran, gave her first interview to a national TV channel recently. She rightly called Imran Khan, her husband, a leader and not a politician. A leader who only has the welfare of his people in his heart.
The first lady also went on to say that while Imran Khan wants to bring about change and development in the country he doesn’t possess a magic wand, which he would simply wave in the air and all problems of the past 70 years will go at one go. People — both PM Imran’s followers and his detractors — need to give him some time.
It took 70 years for Pakistan to reach this sad state of affairs. It will take some years at least before it could flourish.
