MANSEHRA: The condition of both roads and traffic in Hazara division has worsened over the years. Due to the incompetence and apathy of previous governments, no proper remedies have even been found to improve the issue of traffic chaos.
Traffic congestion within cities causes problems for locals and tourists alike. The situation is worse in Abbottabad district. When one enters Abbottabad city, he/she is welcomed by multiple lines of cars and loud horns, adding to one’s mental fatigue. The queue is long on both sides of the road. It takes hours to travel a few kilometres.
The issue requires immediate action plan. The Hazara motorway should be completed on a priority basis. This will add to the capacity of roads. This will also help overcome the traffic congestion problem. In addition, the completion of the motorway would also boost economic activities.
