In Karachi too, whole city has thankfully not been shut down,
KARACHI: The security plan for this year’s Muharram processions has been worked out with careful consideration almost in all major cities of Pakistan. The plan doesn’t cause much trouble to the citizenry while also ensures security to the hundreds of citizens taking part in the processions.
In Karachi too, the whole city has thankfully not been shut down, nor have cellular networks been suspended for all. Only phone signals in sensitive areas have been suspended. This is a good step taken by the provincial government. Hopefully it will be implemented in the future as well.
