LAHORE: After Imran Khan’s victory in the election, Pakistanis are feeling elated while waiting for the Bollywood superstar Amir Khan to fulfil his promise and visit Pakistan. The Bollywood star back in 2012 wished Imran Khan success in his struggle and so now the time has come. Now Imran Khan has reached the summit of success and is most likely to be next prime minister after 22 years of his relentless struggle to fulfil his dream of putting Pakistan on the road to progress and enlightenment.
It is hoped that not just the Indian film fraternity but the country’s leadership too would be welcoming of Khan, particularly in the wake of the malicious propaganda by Indian media calling the soon-to-be prime minister a Taliban supporter having inclinations towards the far-right. Nevertheless, with Khan in all likelihood to be at the helm, Bollywood and cricket diplomacy will likely be revived.
