LAHORE: As the uncertainty surrounding the situation regarding new allies has almost disappeared, it is most likely going to be a mix of new and former allies. The PPP and the PML-N have allied with each other previously when the PPP formed the federal government back in 2008.
However, for the PML-Q and the PTI, it’s going to be the first time that the two will work together in a political coalition. Realistically, the equation will be stronger and better between the PML-N and the PPP as compared to the one between the PML-Q and the PTI, where the latter will have an upper hand.
