Imran Khan is a beacon of hope for the majority, given his clean past record
LAHORE: Suffice it to say that the corrupt ruled the country for decades and spent even longer to master the art of corruption while creating a picture of near-perfect governance to deceive the masses. Compared to them, a relatively newcomer to join in the business of governance Imran Khan is a beacon of hope for the majority, given his clean past record. But on the other hand, Khan and his party never have had their chance. Just as someone who has never seen money cannot claim stealing it, Imran Khan and his party’s claim of being clean will be proved after their five years at the helm.
It would be rather more important if the same claims stand true at the end of the five-year rule of the party at the federal level. That’s when Imran Khan would be right to claim that he and his party have stood the test of the time.
