International media has not welcomed the outcome of Pakistan’s general elections
HYDERABAD: International media has not welcomed the outcome of Pakistan’s general elections, particularly media of the neighbouring country, India, that has called Imran Khan’s victory as ‘Pakistan chooses a pro-Taliban as their future leader.’ Pakistan’s relations with India under the PML-N had been comparatively better. Foreign media analyses Khan’s image in the international community, which he should start working on right after he takes over command. Also, due to Khan’s stance on far-right groups of the country, especially in the wake of the news reports of his party joining hands with proscribed militant outfits, the global community may not be as welcoming of the new leader as they had been in the past.
