It is up to you how you choose to use your precious vote to put things right
SHIKARPUR: The people of Pakistan are tired of the repetitive, empty promises voiced by political parties. Such promises and agendas have never been fulfilled since independence in 1947. Pakistan has never measured the beauty of transparency, accountability and development in education, health and other sectors. Also, the Constitution which says “free and compulsory education to all children of the age of five to sixteen years” has long been violated. Thus, literacy rate remains at 58 per cent. The state of the health sector is unsatisfactory with several technical and scientific problems. Pakistan is spending only 0.49 per cent of its GDP on the health sector. It is really upsetting to know that politicians have never considered
health as a fundamental human right. The history of the five-year tenure of the PML-N regime and the PPP’s performance in Sindh show the entire picture of the nation’s development. Now it is up to you how you choose to use your precious vote to put things right. Much is not right in the state.
