KARACHI: The incident at Karachi’s Askari Park on July 15th created not only fear but rage among Karachites as the incident is a result of the failure on the park’s management. Going to an amusement park with your family on a Sunday seems a great way to spend your weekend, up until your child dies because a running ride breaks apart and drops down from an altitude of 40 feet. The lack of maintenance and technical check-ups is what caused this terrible incident. To make matters worse, all those who should have been responsible for this incident, disappeared from the scene. The management of the park must not only be held accountable but also be proceeded against according to the relevant the law.
