LAHORE: The attack on PNS Mehran shows quite clearly that the guards posted at the entrance of bases need to have better training. I would suggest that they be given the same training as imparted to commandos. While the navy will say otherwise, it is obvious that we lost two very important and expensive aircraft because of the sheer negligence of the guards on duty and the security which was next to non-existent.
