NAB has decided not to arrest any of the politicians for their ongoing cases, ahead of the polls
LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau has decided not to arrest any of the politicians for their ongoing cases in courts to let the politicians do their best ahead of the polls. However, the decision is incomprehensible as those charged in any of their cases stand convicted right after the court delivers its verdict and not when one’s political fate has been decided, after the elections. Also, charging and prosecuting winning candidates will only add to the dragging of the process and in some cases the ECP may have to conduct by-elections.
