The attack on PNS Mehran clearly shows that the terrorist are well-armed and motivated and quite possibly have sympathisers in the forces. The magnitude and duration of the attack also shows that they can attack anywhere and anytime at will. And our intelligence and security apparatus only responds after the damage has already been done. A change of strategy is clearly required — a plane costing millions of dollars has been destroyed.
