The crisis European countries have been running away is of their own creation
ISLAMABAD: News reports for migrant boats capsizing in seas while crossing illegally into the European continent have bogged the European state heads into a debate over resolving the migrant issue. European countries like Germany and Italy have welcomed the war-fleeing masses from European countries for the past couple of years. However, now the countries need a burden sharing formula for refugees and asylum seekers.
The crisis European countries have been running away from has been created by them only. It is only after the Arab spring and the streak of US and other countries’ intervention that followed which has resulted in populace from these countries running to safer lands.
Had these states not made the Middle East and Gulf states a proxy ground for their own interests things would have been relatively different.
