LAHORE: In developing countries like Pakistan, where many despite being the part of available workforce fail to find jobs and a source of income for themselves, those who manage to find one continue to do so at the expense of their rights they are entitled to as a worker.
Quite often in Pakistan, workers are never informed of their rights at the time of their recruitment. Unfortunately, there is no strict check over employers either to ensure that they do not violate the rights of their workers. Ensuring the rights of workers increases their productivity.
