Minority religious leaders have demanded the implementation of a SC verdict and a special task force for protection
PESHAWAR: Minority religious leaders have demanded the implementation of a Supreme Court verdict and creation of a special task force for the protection of religious minorities in the country against targeted killings. Although the question that arises with the formation of the special task force is why can the police force not perform the same duties of protecting minorities in the country? Is the institution of police that incompetent? Moreover, if formed, how is the special force going to perform its duties? As other than its deployment in security-sensitive areas and minority worship places, the idea is quite unimplementable and implausible.
